We opened the church's doors for private prayer from Friday 26 June, and you are welcome at these times every day:

What we've been doing to prepare
Our first and overriding priority is the safety of all parishioners, not least as there are many vulnerable people amongst us. The church has been thoroughly cleaned - from the high chandeliers to the lowest corners, while decluttering has taken place and all touchable surfaces wiped down with soap and water (detergent is the best agent to destroy the fatty coated envelope that protects the COVID-19 virus).

The final step has been to disinfect all hard surfaces, and a similar routine will need to continue for some time into the future. A rota of volunteer stewards is in place, with thanks to all involved.

What we ask of you
We ask people to maintain the safe practices of social distancing and applying hand sanitiser as you enter and leave. Please resist coming into church if you feel unwell.

Looking ahead
The current opening plan will be revised in the light of experience. Additionally, we are also exploring the possibility of an initial open air service in the glebe when and IF allowed, as a way back to gathered worship. Thank you for your patience.

Please continue to see the website for our weekly online services of worship and other resources, where you will find a Sunday Service for the week, along with intercessions, a Daily Prayer booklet, the pew sheet, a resource page of online links/ children’s activities, and recordings of seasonal music.
